If you are travelling to Dundee by bus/train buses are 5 minutes from both the train station and the bus station - for more info on bus/train arrival times and onward journeys to the venue - click here.

If you don't have a car try using the Chess Scotland message board or www.liftshare.com to find a driver with spare seats.

We are able to pick up & return from/to the city centre anyone without their own transport. Contact us here at least a few days ahead of the event.

From Perth:

1.         At Invergowrie roundabout take 2nd exit (sp Aberdeen, Forfar A90); continue for approx 4.5 miles to  double-roundabout (sp Aberdeen to left, Arbroath straight on);

2          Take 2^nd exit from first roundabout (Shell filling station on left), then 1^st exit from second roundabout (sp Tay Bridge, Arbroath A972;

3          Continue ahead at next 2 roundabouts, then at third roundabout (fire station on left) take 2^nd exit (sp A92 Arbroath);

4          In approx 1.4 miles at major traffic-light intersection continue forward, sp A92 Arbroath (KFC on left); Important - see below

5          In approx 2.4 miles at roundabout (Dobbies, McDonalds on left) take first exit (sp Leisure Complex);

6          David Lloyd Leisure is directly ahead.

From North (inland on A90):

1.         Stay on A90 until it ends at double-roundabout (Shell filling station on left);

2.         Take 1st exit from first roundabout, then 1st exit from second roundabout (sp Tay Bridge, Arbroath A972;

3.         Continue ahead at next 2 roundabouts, then at third roundabout (fire station on left) take 2nd exit (sp A92 Arbroath);

1          Take A92;

2          On approaching Monifieth, at roundabout (Premier Travel Inn & Brewsters on right) take 3rd exit (sp Leisure Complex)

From Fife:

1          Approach Dundee in right-hand lane of bridge; at end of exit-slip follow signs for Aberdeen, Arbroath (A972);

2         In approx 1.4 miles at traffic lights bear left (sp A92 Arbroath);

3           At 2^nd roundabout take 4th exit (sp A92 Arbroath);

4           In approx 1.4 miles at major traffic-light intersection continue forward, sp A92 Arbroath (KFC on left);   Important - see below
