About the venue:

The principal features to note are:

• Very easy to reach by car - is adjacent to the A92 Dundee - Arbroath Rd (see Directions);

• Ample free parking adjacent to the club.

• Food & drink available - soft drinks, alcohol, meals (including a reduced-price menu for Congress participants - details) - all day, including Sunday;

• Bar

• Breakfast selection available

• Lounge and social area

• Tea/coffee (50p per cup) and iced water (free)  will be available in the tournament area.

• Reduced price (£5.00) use of the venue's facilities

• Free WiFi within the venue

The club is open from 06.30 until 22.30.

The bar is open until approx. 9 p.m.

About the tournament area:

All the events  will be played in a large Function room. Don’t be put off by this being a fitness centre - the tournament area is situated on the first floor of the building, two floors and the building-length away from the gym activities. There is no noise intrusion from the club activities.

Tournament Hall:

Immediately after entering the building, stairs and a lift are to the right. The hall is on the first floor.

 

These are available in the Lounge - please drink them there and don't bring them into the tournament hall

Lounge/bar:

From the tournament hall take stairs/lift to the ground floor and turn right in the reception area. Pass through the turnstiles, which will be opened on request by the receptionists, go straight ahead.

Analysis room:

Leave the tournament hall and immediately turn left, go to the end of a short passage, turn left. The analysis room is on the right.  If full you can take a set into the lounge but please return it to the analysis room immediately you are finished. We don't want bits going missing, or venue staff having to clear up after us.

Less than 5 minutes drive to Monifieth (easily walkable, regular buses):

Less than 10 minutes drive to Broughty Ferry:

More pubs and places to eat than you can shake a wet kipper at, snooker hall, night-club, riverside walks between Monifieth and Dundee

Less than 15 minutes drive to Dundee City Centre:
